I am really considering getting this game right now, just because of how awesome everyone made it sound. Problem is, it's the standard $60 for new game price, it's a fighter game which I don't have a lot of past experience with, and I heard it was really hard.

Street Fighter 4 is super overrated.
No, I'm kidding. I'm just jealous everyone has it and I don't.
GET IT. Since it's similar to Street Fighter 2, it'll teach you basics and stuff. Whereas in 3rd Strike, you gotta learn to parry and stuff.

SF4 is a dumbed down SF3 for the masses to play. It'll still draw a competitive crowd like any SF game but many regard SF3 as being the superior game.
It's still a good game though. Just don't get it on the 360. The D-Pad for the 360 is horrible for fighting games.

Ah, I just wanted a good game that I can play with another friend if they come over. My live isn't set up because of some technical problems, and the only game I seem to have is either halo3 co-op or topspin 3, and topspin 3 takes too long for people to learn to play and actually do well since I'm good at it. Oh well.
